# Code Of Conduct
This code of conduct applies but is not limited to: code, discussions taking place on or out of official platforms, talking about the project, and using the project.
1. No discrimination of any kind, including but not limited to: transphobia, homophobia, racism, pluralphobia, trans-medicalism, sys-medicalism, antisemitism, ableism, classism against the working class, ate keeping of identities and general exclusionary behavior, misogyny, harassment, islamophobia. We do encourage punching up as things like "reverse racism" or "reverse transphobia" aren't real.
2. This means using peoples pronouns & names, and being respectful of peoples identities.
3. Please be kind and courteous. There’s no need to be mean or rude.
4. We will exclude you from interaction if you insult, demean or harass anyone. That is not welcome behavior.
5. Private harassment is also unacceptable. No matter who you are, if you feel you have been or are being harassed or made uncomfortable by a community member, please contact one of the admins, currently [Erin](mailto:erin@the-system.eu.org) & [Felix](mailto:owo@fef.moe).
6. Please keep unstructured critique to a minimum. If you have solid ideas you want to experiment with, make a fork and see how it works.
7. Respect that people have differences of opinion and that every design or implementation choice carries a trade-off and numerous costs. There is seldom a right answer.
8. Do not fight over what is "the right language to use". Most languages are good for certain purposes, and people have different languages they are comfortable with. If you do have a solid criticism of a language used, aka "Python for a large program", or "using java/javascript at all /hj" that is fine.
9. No illegal content of any kind here, no sir, I promise mr FBI ;3
10. This is an anti-fascist space. We support deplatforming and fighting all forms of fascism and authoritarianism. Any users showing fascisting tendancies, using dogwhistles, and supporting strong authoritarianism (*cough cough* tankies) will be removed from this space.
11. In discussions, please use content warnings for things that some users might not want to see, for example food, sexual content, assault, mental health issues, and any other topics at your own discretion.
12. Consistant spam is not allowed,.
13. Bad faith rules lawyering in an attempt to avoid the clear and obvious progressive intent of these rules is unacceptable behavior. If you have an issue with one of the rules, please contact an admin.
These rules are a mix of original ones, and modified ones from [notbird.site](https://notbird.site/about/more) and [Rust](https://www.rust-lang.org/policies/code-of-conduct).
