From 5b280f80392eade70d9c81226c587c81aac45499 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Michael Lucas Date: Mon, 28 Jan 2002 12:35:21 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] "Why does recompiling the latest ISC BIND fail?" It doesn't. If this question had been phrased more usefully ("why does recompiling BIND 8 on FreeBSD 2.2.5 fail" or somesuch), I would say to keep this until we start over with the FreeBSD 5.x FAQ. Since this entry now contains absolutely no useful information, whatsoever, in any form, other than to let us know at some time in the past seven years some version of FreeBSD had a problem with some version of BIND, I'm taking it out behind the barn and disposing of it with extreme prejudice. --- en_US.ISO8859-1/books/faq/book.sgml | 13 ------------- 1 file changed, 13 deletions(-) diff --git a/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/faq/book.sgml b/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/faq/book.sgml index 64b87a08dc..a826835d7c 100644 --- a/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/faq/book.sgml +++ b/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/faq/book.sgml @@ -8449,19 +8449,6 @@ Key F15 A A Menu Workplace Nop - - - Why does recompiling the latest BIND from ISC fail? - - - - There is a conflict between the - cdefs.h file in the distribution and the - one shipped with FreeBSD.
