Fix various errors found during my previous whitespace commit along with

some cosmetic changes.  Some of what was changed includes:

  o -current -> -CURRENT
  o -stable -> -STABLE
  o Walnut Creek CD-ROM -> Walnut Creek CDROM
  o freebsdcon.com -> freebsdcon.org (.org is the 'main' domain name)
  o removed xcontest blurb since it never actually happened
  o minor grammatical fixes
