02eb8093b5 Update to the latest version of the example named.conf file (r218865) [1] 
Add "resolving" as an alias for "caching"

Use the IETF tools site for RFC URLs. It has a lot of nice features,
including links to outside sources, indications of obsolesence, etc.

2b293f346d Remove the paragraph listing jhb@ as the manager of the SMPng project; 
said project is now long since completed, and there are enough people
with SMP-fu around that there's no need to point everybody at a single
target.

509fb09013 PR: docs/150124 
Fix/Update the instructions on "how to build a custom kernel".

- The fact that you need the whole source tree for this is well hidden at the moment.
- The instructions on how to extract the src tree from a CD are wrong (changed pathnames).
- In order to extract the full src tree you would need 20 cat/tar commands.  So remove that part.
- While here do some additional rewording.

df3f30b9ef Add a bit of back-fill to make the procedures for e.g. GNATS-only 
committers more explicit.  This section needs a bit more work.

While here, promote a paragraph to a note, while leaving whitespace alone.
