800aa66217 Add a new FAQ concerning development branch tracking. This should help users 
with tracking development releases of GNOME, plus give them information on
reporting bugs, known issues, and what more they can do to help.

The bulk of this work was by adamw, with some additional content and
formatting changes.

99a6588c0b Correct a grammar nit that was driving me crazy. 
It would be nice, however, if all modern Unix-like operating systems included
a copy of FreeBSD in their distros. ::)

691b9b7c1b Don't propagate non-XHTML namespaces to XHTML output. This makes some 
pages validate as XHTML on mirrors with certain versions of xsltproc
(e.g. http://www.freebsd.cz/gnome/).

* Remove as many contractions as readability allows.
* Shorten the contact list to only active GNOME committers.
* Add my FreeBSD AIM screen name.
* Fix a grammar nit in the GNOME 2 FAQ.
* Clarify that the search interface now searches the freebsd-gnome mailing
  list archives.

Take some of the introductory text from the GNOME project and
incorporate it into our front page.

First stab at a front page.  Get the basics right, clean up the code a
little, add align="jusity" instead of align="left" for better display of
main text.  Oh, and get over the heebeegeebies.  :)
