d881d4f741 Replace contractions with the expanded form wherever it is possible to do 
so.  In some cases, such as in the phrase "aren't you?", it does not look good
to replace it with "are not you" or "are you not".

241b09897e Updates to the x86 assembly language chapter. 
This is a very unusual piece of documentation in that it is maintained
by an outside author who thinks he has a better home-grown
documentation management system than ours, so he now supports
DocBook/SGML as an "output" format to his own system.  His output is
perfectly valid DocBook but the indentation is mostly non-existent,
and 'tidy -xml' breaks things.

Anyway, please send updates to this chapter directly to the submitter.

4e4349aa1b Make the handbook build again, after the *clearly* untested commit in 
revision 1.36 of this file.  Specifically:
 o Reduce section ID names to within jade's token size limit.
 o Place missng end tags where necessary.

Please, people, remember to build the handbook before you commit any
modifications to it!

de35dbcd65 Clean up some of the questions in the FAQ. Namely: 
o Convert statements ("I'd like to become a Web mirror") into questions
   ("How do I become a Web mirror?").
 o Properly mark up errors with <errorname> instead of <literal>.

And a minor nit:
 o Refer to the X window system as the X window system (instead of "the X
   window").
