b1fcdfa010 Make an attempt to catch up on several years of changes: 
- Add a column for FreeBSD 8.X.
- Unassign tasks that have been idle for years without a PR.
- Update the status of many tasks, and reword some to reflect reality.
- Formatting: Use NOWRAP for the column containing dates.

8c330ba723 Remove the sgtty removal project from the ideas page. 
The sgtty interface has already been removed from FreeBSD -CURRENT.
Almost all ports have been converted to termios already.

be039622d9 Remove some of the previous application deadlines and note that 
successful student applicants will be announced on Monday.  Also add a
FAQ entry noting that we are eager to work with students that were not
selected for funding as there were not enough slots for all the
promising students.

5aa6804ebe The text for the on-disk directory indexing idea described the 
improvements from the pre-dirhash situation. Make it more accurate
and suggest dynamic memory tuning for dirhash also.

c4d15192c9 Forced commit to provide more detail for commit message for 
ideas.xml:1.38:

The syncer project idea is being removed because the current idea
fails to reflect the high level of complexity and interdependence
with other subsystems, and the specific strategy identified in the
idea is not the consensus view on the way forward.  We will hold a
buffer cache strategy session at the devsummit to try and iron out
a plan forward, and can re-add specific items generated by that
group to the ideas list once agreement is reached on direction.
At this point, any actual coding would be highly premature.

3cb63115c6 Un-tag sysenter support as soc-friendly; the gains on i386 are believed to 
be questionable, and this particular project idea seems not to lead to
good SoC proposals (after a year or two of efforts), so leave it where
students can find it, but don't specifically encourage proposals for the
idea.
