2ae8c70234 The freebsd-update utility can be used on systems with custom kernels. 
This update explains how to:

- Use freebsd-update for security updates, recompiling the custom kernel when
  necessary
- Install a fresh copy of GENERIC in /boot/GENERIC on systems lacking it
- Use GENERIC as an intermediate step when upgrading to a newer release using
  the upgrade option of freebsd-update

23f0d0a978 Remove working information from pppd, it mentions /usr/src/usr.sbin as 
the path to pppd, while we talk about /usr/sbin/pppd in the document.
Adopt it to match that behaviour.

7ca8ef2c44 Tell that setting gateway_enable="YES" will make a persistent 
change after a reboot.

Also mention that one can use sysctl net.inet.ip.forwarding=1
to enable the gateway setting immediatly.

64579782ad - remove WIP note from the IPFW section, I don't think it belongs there, 
all documentation is actually WIP...

- add a note that IPFW now supports both IPv4 and IPv6

- remove now obsoleted IPV6FIREWALL* options (see
  http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-questions/2008-December/189329.html)

71682c57b3 Merge the Updating chapter into the Cutting Edge chapter, and rename the 
new chapter "Updating and Upgrading FreeBSD."

Update other chapters to reference the new chapter name.

3eb38760be Place the "1" and "2" inside of <acronym> tags. If you consistently try 
to place them outside of these tags, you get breakage outside of <para>.

1. Add Sina.cn, 18th most trafficed web property in the world
   according to Alexa, and running FreeBSD for its CDN at least
   according to netcraft and an employee confirmation.

2. Remove sophos.com, 22,304 most trafficed web property in the world
   according to Alexa.

6611edb092 Remove Blue Mountain Arts, Supervalue, and JMA Wired from the list of 
large websites running FreeBSD.  I don't believe any of these are
particularly large, nor is there any recent evidence that they run
FreeBSD.  It's not even clear to me that these domains belong to the
same companies as when they were added to this list in 2002.

Add Rambler, second largest web properties in Russia.

Add a new section, about devices and products built on FreeBSD.  Add
Apple, Cisco, Juniper, and NetApp to that list.

5dbb56a6a8 Add Yandex.ru to the list of high profile sites using FreeBSD. This 
is the second highest traffic site running FreeBSD I am aware of,
after the combined Yahoo! properties.
