1a730a7564 Add a note above the form to forewarn users that if they can't view
images, then they won't be able to use this mechanism. In the words of
the user who suggested this:

I always see and work with the page from the top down, so I
filled in this form before realising that I was completely
incapable of getting it submitted which was obviously a tad
	annoying.

925e309a67 Improve transtable.{xml,xsl}, including:
- The structure of transtable.xml is revised. <word> should be
   bracketed with <group>.

 - A sorting order of the FreeBSD mirror sites rendered using
mirrors.xml has been determined by sort(1).

 - A template "transtable-lookup" has been added for localization on
   word-by-word basis.

 - Replace English month names in news.xml, press.xml, and
advisories.xml with numbers that correspond to the names.
The number->name translation is performed on the fly.

 - Since information in mirrors.xml is used in www/ tree, it depends on
doc/ tree now. When WITHOUT_DOC is defined it can be built without
doc/ tree, but some information becomes unavailable. For example,
a list of the mirror sites generated in index.html becomes a dummy
one, and calling "transtable-lookup" with a word returns the word
   itself.

Neither www/ nor doc/ build should be broken due to this commit, but
until the necessary changes are applied in the localized directories,
the transtable does not work; it simply generates non-localized contents
even if transtable.xsl is used.

Now there are three separate lists: GNOME 1 components, GNOME 2 components,

hacks.

This now mirrors the division present in bsd.gnome.mk in the development

a30ef3ecab Although 'Unanimous Consent' appears to be a well defined and used in
the US Senate, Canadian Parliament and Australian Senate, it was
causing some confusion. After some consultation with Mark Murray,
change this to 'without objection' since often times a plain-speaking
term is preferable to a regionally used term.

Also, clarify that this procedure is to be used when for more mundane
matters that need a sanity check, but don't need the whole, ponderous
voting proceedure that more difficult issues require. Core members
that read email in any given 48 hour period are trusted enough to know
the difference and to provide the sanity check as necessary.

This code relies on the netpbm port being installed ; this is
already a dependency of the textproc/docproj port.

This comes courtesy of a collaboration with Eric Anderson

majority of the code to implement it; thank you very much, Eric - this

d5b0c34a4c Change a 'be' to 'may' so that a sentence makes sense. Point at the
definition of 'Unanimous Consent' that is used by the US Senate to
mean 'without objection' in routine matters. Also say as in this
document for non-US folks who may be unfamiliar with the term and
confused by its use.

86e433abf7 In the platforms list, update the link to the ia64 project pages. The
ia64 project pages live under the ia64 subdirectory, with index.html
the main page. The link was pointing to the old page, which tells you
to update your bookmark. While here, spell IA64 as IA-64. This is
consistent with the spelling in the "What is FreeBSD?" paragraph and
also with the spelling in the project pages.

526d8990da Due to some housecleaning, we no longer need a loran(4) manpage (the

hea(4) is similarly gone.
