dd365111ba Change every outstanding 'short' link to the FAQ or Handbook to use 
the now mandatory 'long' format.  This should catch everything, with
the exception of the release notes.

0df663f8f5 Replace a (broken) link to ../handbook/staff.html with 
../doc/en/articles/contributers/index.html.  This isn't as
appropriate, but it's better than getting a 404.

7a15d30d48 When I originally added these files I chose a very poor place for them 
based on where the NetBSD developer's put their release engineering
documents.  It's very clear that this information is not specific for
comitters, but is of general interest to our -STABLE users, and as
such it has been moved to more user-visible areas of our web site.

These files now simply provide pointers to the new locations.

76ee14ae6f Note that the errata file has been archived. I'm not sure I should have 
asked for this to be put on the releng schedule...it's specific to the
RELNOTESng snapshot Web site.

6de5382003 The package build had to be restarted. Steve Price estimates that the 
x86 package set for FreeBSD 4.5 should be available by tommorow
mid-day (PST).  Move back the release date one more day accordingly.
Also, update various other checklist items on the releng45 schedule.

44fa189ec2 When we bump newvers.sh, we probably want to bump release.ent for the 
release documentation too.  (Suggested by murray.)

1b83faa99c Add 6 more action items to the release schedule. Also note that we 
must use RELATIVE symlinks on ftp-master, as my fingers often forget
this.

Some of these items appear on this schedule only after we do them, but
I still think it is worth documenting, so we can use this for 4.6.

e0748ee6f2 Our original release targets were too aggressive for the Holiday 
season.  This change bumps back the 4.5 release date to January 26th,
to give us more time to test the upcoming release candidates.

03d68a9511 Add a page about the Release Engineering process to the internal 
section of the FreeBSD website (www.freebsd.org/internal).

This page documents the administrative aspects of FreeBSD releases,
including the CVS operations required, a list of files that must be
updated for each release, information about the contents of each disc
on the 4 disc set, and so on ..

Comments and additions are welcome.

update ref5; as of yesterday it has 512M of ram, not 128M.

7eec0a1427 Remove duplicate $FreeBSD$ lines. One is in the `date' entity, and 
one in a comment; since the former is clearly visible from the top of
the file, the latter's only purpose was to bloat the repository a
little more.
