2c70db6304 Since the output of dmesg(8) is not guaranteed to contain the boot messages, 
suggest users check var/run/dmesg.boot when they need information about their
devices, etc.

cbbbe65b73 Greatly expand the information here. Unbreak the build (stray " crept 
in in my last commit).  Eliminate the use of wicontrol to setup hostap
mode.  Warn about using current firmware for hostap.  Describe IBSS
and BSS at least a little bit, as well as the various flavors of
ad-hoc mode.

db8a3fbe87 Move the speed (-t 3) option into the ifconfig line. Remove the ssid 
from the wicontrol line, since it isn't needed.  Add channel number to
ifconfig line, since most people need to set this.

# this needs a little work, but is better now.

b7bc463000 wicontrol -p 6 is bogus and not needed (and will not be supported in 
the future versions of FreeBSD).  Don't recommend using it...

5d15680d9e Add wepmode on in ifconfig(8) command lines to enable WEP on wireless 
cards.  Without this option it just creates a key nothing more.

4d54e88881 - Convert net/etherboot to a package/port link. 
- Fix minor grammar: s/enable NFS service/enable NFS/
- Expand a bit 'workstation' and remove excessive punctuation.
- Tag rc.conf and README as <filename>'s.
- Remove reference to PRs conf/31200 and conf/29870, since
  they have been fixed.
