dc85eb7618 Break out IPv6 and IPsec features. Highlight that IPv6 is "out of the 
box", and that IPsec supports hardware acceleration.

Move mention of background file system checking and snapshots up to the
soft updates section.

Mention MPSAFE VFS work in 6.x.

Attempt to slightly smooth language about thread features.

Point out that Netgraph makes it easy to extend the network stack, as
well as helping to reduce bugs in stack extensions.

Mentions some of our MAC policy modules by name.

Mention GBDE.

077359f925 Belatedly add the Portmgr's charter that core@ approved in November 
2001 and published to developers@ and ports@ to the internal handbook.
Portmgr has been operating under this charter since then, but people
were having problems finding this in the email archives.  Add it to
our internal page so that people no longer have this problem.

I'll also note that core.2 intended to give a very borad range of
powers to portmgr@ to manage the ports tree, while retaining the
ability to clarify and refine the charter over time.

d1b6752adf Add a new 'desirable' feature. Do some whitespace cleanups and some 
fixes to make it a bit more in line with standards for formatting in
a few places.  I broke with standards for the table header entries but
I think this format will help people make sure they get the right number
of entries for the rows - this format for the <th> entries matches what
all the other row definitions wind up using for the <td> entries.

5834dfd971 Add some humble requests for hardware. After a gravitational miscalculation, 
my laptop became fairly useless for hacking purposes.  I've also managed to
dig up another Ultra60, currently serving as doorstop without processors or
disks.

362ca6ed01 We are approaching P100k real fast now. Grab the opportunity to 'fix' 
some bugs of the text-mode listings of the Gnats database:

  - Shave 2 characters out of the submission date, by removing the
    enclosing [] pair.
  - Increase the width of the tracker field.  It should now be wide
    enough until PR standards/999999 (which is, hopefully, a very
    long time).
  - Decrease the width of Resp. to 10 characters, as the longer name
    is now a bit shorter (after the removal of 'freebsd-' a while
    back).
  - Shorten the 'Description' a bit, to keep the entire listing at
    less than 79 columns (which IIRC was broken by me in revision
    1.45, during the split of HTML/text output in separate functions).

So, nuke the images/team directory, and put all the images into

cf56bf8e12 Two additions to the reports: 
- Allow to categorise reports in the menu/overview
 - Add a per project <help>-section to define open tasks and encourage help

This does not alter the way the existing reports are rendered (just adds two
<hr/> before and after the menu/overview.

81dea68222 - Remove "More?" from the platforms list, since it's already linked from 
the section header.
- Remove the "Contacting FreeBSD" and "The BSD Copyright" items, since
  they are already linked from the page footer.
- Shorten "Contributing to FreeBSD" to just "Contributing", it should
  be rather clear that it is to FreeBSD, and the complete text
  "Contributing to FreeBSD" is too long so it wraps to two lines.

2892d6408b rel.current does not refer to x.y-current, but to a.b-stable. 
Add a rel.head entity that carries the correct values for x.y and use
it in the only place that got this wrong so far.

1ce300caf2 Remove the Silicon Breeze note at the bottom under contributing to 
FreeBSD.  I can't reach the website right now, and Greg hasn't been
