8d4363944d Add '<' and '>' symbols around email addresses in the originator line. 
It used to look like:

Originator:
	Joe Blow joe@blow.net

and now looks like:

Originator:
	Joe Blow <joe@blow.net>

with the email address being a hypertext link in both cases.

33cf1c50a1 Fix (?) the so-called P10k problem in the weekly PR summary mailouts. 
For future reference, the weekly mailouts are done from a trivial script
which merely calls this script in plaintext (rather than in html) mode.

77b8b76970 Undo revision revision 1.34: Set up for FreeBSD repo options ($FreeBSD$) 
in /usr/local/etc/cvsweb-freebsd. The repo options are only valid for
the FreeBSD CVS tree.

BTW, the cvsweb.cgi mirror sites should update their
/usr/local/etc/cvsweb-freebsd too if possible.

8044939abb Undo revision 1.31. The FreeBSD Web server www.freebsd.org support 
more than one CVS tree and FreeBSD.org E-mail hyperlinks will not work
for the other trees (e.g. NetBSD, learn etc.).

90816a2088 When creating the "Submit Followup" link, be more aggressive about 
url-encoding unsafe characters.  Instead of a comparing against a list
of unsafe characters, compare against an inverted list of safe characters.
Specifically fixes " " spaces in urls, but probably others, too.

Make the url-encoding that did already exist work.

f0f990c2ba Support diff by revsion too, not only by date. This is a workaround 
if the ports/INDEX file was not updated regularly.

To select a revsion, replace the value for the cgi variable
'time' with rev<revsion>, e.g.:

	/cgi/ports.cgi?type=new&time=rev1.200&sektion=all

print a diff for all new ports since rev 1.200

0361431614 Delete OpenBSD tree from the cgi script and move the OpenBSD 
configuration to the extern config file /usr/local/etc/cvsweb.
OpenBSD is not a standard part of FreeBSD ;-) and I doubt that
FreeBSD mirror site will support OpenBSD.

a223c13022 Fix a typo causing the "src/" cvsweb referencer to kick in when it 
shouldn't.
Save a copy of the un-HTML-ified synopsis for use in the mailto: HREF,
 otherwise you end up with odd things like "%26lt;" instead of "<".

bc607d0c2a Add cvsweb links to source references. A source reference 
has the syntax

	 rev 1.8 of src/bin/chmod/chmod.1
	 (the word "of" is optional)

or
        src/bin/chmod/chmod.1 rev 1.7

'rev' and 'revision' are synonym.
If you close a PR you should now include the revision,
for example from PR 6055:

Fixed in src/gnu/usr.bin/as/config/obj-aout.c revision 1.6. [...]

38f0d9e5a3 Add an option to download the complete mailing list archive 
(usually one week) where the current mail is stored. The URL
point to the ftp server ftp.freebsd.org.

You can download an archive and read it offline with your
favourite mail client. This may reduce your local terrorkom bill.
I don't know if this option is useful for the general FreeBSD user.

bb0d79615f Some change how messages are retrieved after a search is done. 
1. Retrievals should be much faster and put much less load on hub,
   particularly for complex searches.

2. URLs for messages are no longer query dependent, so when a message
   you have already looked at pops up in a different search, you your
   browser history mechanism can recognize it and color the link
   appropriately.

3. Messages are potentially cachable; I may have to tweak the
   HTTP header to make it really work though.

path `/get_the_source'. E.g.

82ceb2d953 Source the config file /usr/local/etc/cvsweb and 
/usr/local/etc/cvsweb-$cvsroot if exists. The config files
are perl scripts.

This make it possible to define local cvs roots, help messages,
navigation bar and E-Mail addresses without changing the
original cvsweb.cgi script.

c97e6997ab Add support for multiple cvs root directories. This allow 
to use one script for different cvs trees, e.g.

freebsd:

The default cvs root is `freebsd'.

92aaee87ef Stefan's cvsweb commit made me realize that I forgot to committed this 
stuff after testing it, since I had fixed that bug already.  Oops!

- Added "?only_on_branch=RELENG_2_2" (e.g.) support and form to select
- Make diff requests refer to foo.diff so browsers don't tend to overwrite
  source files with diff's
- Get rid of content-transfer-encoding: x-gzip since it's not sufficiently
  standard
- Parse PR references in log messages
- Add side-by-side as a diff option (?f=s)
- Use &html_header() to get consistent look for error messages
- Make checkout and diff into functions for flexibility

Allow specifying a module name, e.g. http://.../cvsweb.cgi/mrouted
