aff5b08725 Re-word the bit about GNOME 1 applets in a GNOME 2 environment. Instead of 
saying, "can have," say, "can build," which should hopefully solve

b3a9dd6462 Add a section on proper installation of OMF files. Note, these steps have 
not yet been done for all the existing GNOME applications, but there is
work underway to correct that.

318cd4a132 Add a Sparc for anholt, for X support. 
We know that Sparc is not at the point where this is doable, but we
don't want to forget that anholt will need one when we get there.

0b7b3112ae Point to CVSWEB instead of the FTP site for the content of individual 
ports, as ftp.FreeBSD.org no longer carry a checked out ports tree.

The burden on the box of people mirroring the tens of thousands of files,
prevented ordinary users from accessing the site.

b30221695a Remove the entry that I'm looking for a notebook. I bought a Vaio R505GL 
yesterday and even though I haven't worked myself through all problems
yet, I'm going to stick with it. I fixed the PS/2 mouse problem and now
only have to get X working and see why the wi driver behaves so badly.
X apparently works if I take the latest server and I doubt the wi
problems (lot's of timeouts and resets without really any throughput)
are really hardware related. I think it relates to power states more
than anything else (ok, one may call that hardware :-)
Anyway, the problems with my old notebook were too annoying that the
looking turned into buying before I could say "patience my young
apprentice". Granted, I don't normally say that so even if I waited a
month this would hold :-)

8ac4e1c9fb Add an entry that I'm looking for a notebook. The only remaining 
battery of my oldish battered (drummed upon :-) Vaio is dying
(roughly 1 minute without AC) so this is probably the least bad
time to look for a worthy replacement.
