7a7c61cb9e Revert previous commit, so that automatically-built doc/ sets

f602b36021 Somewhat formalize the "multiple 'latest' versions" entities hack 
of doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/faq/book.sgml rev 1.509 by moving
the entity definitions to the place where we define all the other
version number entities.  This makes it far more likely that they'll
be updated correctly during version number bumps.

4b513a94e6 Revert revision 1.15, which showed 4.6.1-RELEASE as the most recent. 
Someone on the RE team will reinstate this change when the release is
imminent.

This (hopefully) will prevent people reading our doc files from getting
confused as to what the latest release is.

a5349c9339 Entity-ize the release notes and hardware notes and change a reference 
in the FAQ to use these.  (Presumably there'll be others.)

While I'm here, add an entity for the current release's errata file.

Heavily based on the last patch in the PR, modified to be consistent
with the way that the Website build defines similar entities.

f55eaf1468 Properly define entities for [ OK ] and [ CANCEL ] and use these 
entities throughout the install chapter.  These need to be defined
with &nbsp; so that these buttons don't wrap across lines.

This prevents :

"Press the [
OK ] button"

from showing up in the print or HTML output.

a428d684dd Two sections in the backups chapter were wrapped in a %not.published 
entity that is never defined.  Define this entity in freebsd.ent so
that the behavior is as intended.

b05f2d4e5b Add an entity &os.numports;, currently set to "5,400", so that we 
don't have to keep this number updated at N different places
throughout the doc tree.

Update 3 instances of "4,000" in the Handbook to use this new entity.

786c87df58 Introduce &os;, &os.current;, and &os.stable; entities. The names 
should speak for themselves.  Using these will significantly improve
consistency through the doc tree.  Right now--before most of the
documents use these--there are five or six different spellings of
"FreeBSD-STABLE", even in the same document!  &os; was added for
completeness.
