354ea74246 Porter's Handbook: Remove mention of CMAKE_VERBOSE 
It was was removed in ports r421635 and verbose builds are on by
default now and not toggleable any more.

943bca7a9c Correct the description of vfs.zfs.arc_max. 
Update the description of the default value for the vgs.zfs.arc_max tunable.
It changed since the chapter was written and this patch updates it to the
definition in the code.

d4a8d01bea Chase merge of mkfontdir into mkfontscale. 
The port mkfontdir was removed and merged into mkfontscale.
Rename mentions of mkfontdir in the X11 chapter to fit.

13ed159fa4 Remove silly alarm() call. 
It was introduced in r44001, and never reverted.

This should finally fix the issue that you got corrupt tarballs
for larger data, or under high load.
