Remove/hide the link to snapshots.us.FreeBSD.org.  The site has not been reachable for some time now.

While here, not that the official snaphosts are available for

- 9-CURRENT
- 8-STABLE
- 7-STABLE
- 6-STABLE

22bb1c8599 - Remove the list of currently existing snapshots and just point 
people at the FTP directory.  It's very often the list is out of
  date and the list doesn't bring much useful information which can't
  quickly be found by just looking in the FTP directories.
- Note that snapshots are currently done for FreeBSD 6, 7, and 8.

b6ac8fb0e5 Add an entry for the January 2007 snapshots. 
(The December 2006 snapshot page was intentionally left blank.)

Minor updates to the other lines as needed for consistency

4733fc8ceb ISOs for powerpc were added to the October set after it was 
last updated.

November has ISOs for powerpc, but not for sparc64.

c0d3f6d421 Restore the entries for July and August, add the new level of detail.

cfd9e12239 www cleanup mega commit: 
- Move includes.nav*.sgml to share/sgml/navibar.ent and
   <lang>/share/sgml/nabibar.l10n.ent.

 - Move includes.sgml and includes.xsl to
   share/sgml/common.ent, share/sgml/header.ent, <lang>/share/sgml/l10n.ent,
   and <lang>?share/sgml/header.l10n.ent.

 - Move most of XSLT libraries to share/sgml/*.xsl and
   <lang>/share/sgml/*.xsl.

 - Move news.xml and other *.xml files for the similar purpose
   to share/sgml/*.xml and <lang>/share/sgml/*.xml.

 - Switch to use a custom DTD for HTML document.  Now we use
   "-//FreeBSD//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional-Based Extension", which is
   HTML 4.01 + some entities previously pulled via
   "<!ENTITY % includes SYSTEM "includes.sgml"> %includes;" line.
   The location of entity file will be resolved by using catalog file.

 - Add DOCTYPE declearation to XML documents.  This makes the followings
   possible:

   * Use of &foo; entities for SGML in an XML file instead of defining
     {$foo} as the same content.

   * &symbolic; entities for Latin characters.

 - Duplicated information between SGML and XML, or English and
   translated doc, has been removed as much as possible.
