* Remove all GNOME 1.4 related questions
* Start using a new scheme for linking questions that will allow us to easily
renumber them if needed
* Add a question on how to uninstal GNOME
* Add documentation for the new gnome_enable rc.conf property
grep: /usr/X11R6/lib/libglade-2.0.la: No such file or directory
sed: /usr/X11R6/lib/libglade-2.0.la: No such file or directory
libtool: link: `/usr/X11R6/lib/libglade-2.0.la' is not a valid libtool archive
These are becoming more and more prevalent now that GNOME has been moved
to LOCALBASE.
- Move includes.nav*.sgml to share/sgml/navibar.ent and
<lang>/share/sgml/nabibar.l10n.ent.
- Move includes.sgml and includes.xsl to
share/sgml/common.ent, share/sgml/header.ent, <lang>/share/sgml/l10n.ent,
and <lang>?share/sgml/header.l10n.ent.
- Move most of XSLT libraries to share/sgml/*.xsl and
<lang>/share/sgml/*.xsl.
- Move news.xml and other *.xml files for the similar purpose
to share/sgml/*.xml and <lang>/share/sgml/*.xml.
- Switch to use a custom DTD for HTML document. Now we use
"-//FreeBSD//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional-Based Extension", which is
HTML 4.01 + some entities previously pulled via
"<!ENTITY % includes SYSTEM "includes.sgml"> %includes;" line.
The location of entity file will be resolved by using catalog file.
- Add DOCTYPE declearation to XML documents. This makes the followings
possible:
* Use of &foo; entities for SGML in an XML file instead of defining
{$foo} as the same content.
* &symbolic; entities for Latin characters.
- Duplicated information between SGML and XML, or English and
translated doc, has been removed as much as possible.
* Remove obsolete question on D-BUS. D-BUS sessions are now the default.
* Remove some legacy bits from other questions.
* Mention that Gamin is the new default FAM provider.
new fancypants FreeBSD/GNOME-specific one.
Note that the index.html and newsflash.html pages haven't been updated
because I can't figure out the magic XSL incantation to make them read
in the new includes.navgnome.sgml.
* Add a paragraph on FAM support [1]
* Add a like to Gary Dunn's SMB mount how-to under the volume mounting
FAQ
* Update the spatial Nautilus FAQ for GNOME 2.10

antialiasing. If this is not done, certain applications (e.g. Mozilla and
gnome-terminal) may not honor antialiasing settings.
