<p>FreeBSD/PowerPC is a port of the FreeBSD operating system
to computers with the PowerPC processor, most notably
recent Macintosh computers.</p>

<p>At the moment "New World" (i.e. colourful case)
Apple Macintoshes. Other platforms, such as older
PowerMacs and non-Apple computers using Open Firmware,
are expected to be targeted later on. </p>

<p>FreeBSD/PowerPC currently is on the verge of booting
to single-user mode.</p>

<p>FreeBSD/PowerPC is mostly in cvs for -CURRENT.</p>
