The work was first started in 2006 by Siebrand Mazeland and myself.
I picked it up one month ago and fixed and updated the site.
The files in the root directory are translated, except for publish.sgml
(todo) and y2kbug.sgml (not done). The files corresponding to
en/share/sgml are also translated.
Two nits:
* in Firefox 3, the "New to FreeBSD?" button is placed underneath the
shortcut list, instead of below it. Opera 9.6 does not have this
problem.
* the encoding of usergroups.html is iso-8859-1 as per the source
code, but on my local build [1] utf-8 looks right, not iso-8859-1.

<p>Iedere distributie van &os; bevat een aantal bestanden met

documentatie waarin de distributie wordt beschreven (RELEASE,

|
SNAPSHOT, enzovoort). Deze bestanden bevatten normaliter:</p>

<li>README: Algemene inleiding.</li>
|
|
|
|
<li>Uitgavenotities: Informatie over wijzigingen ten opzichte van
|
|
de vorige uitgave van &os;.</li>
|
|
|
|
<li>Hardware-notities: Een list met hardware-apparaten waarvan
|
|
bekend is dat ze werken met &os;.</li>
|
|
|
|
<li>Installatie-instructies: Een korte installatiegids voor
|
|
&os;.</li>
|
|
|
|
<li>Errata: Allerlaatste nieuwe, inclusief correcties,
|
|
beveiligingswaarschuwingen en potentiële problemen die
|
|
gevonden zijn na de uitgave.</li>
|
|
</ul>

|
|
|
<p>Van de bovenstaande bestanden zijn de uitgavenotities, hardware-notities
|
|
en installatie-instructies aangepast voor iedere
|
|
architectuur die door &os; wordt ondersteund.</p>
|
|
|
|
<h2>RELEASE versies van &os;</h2>
|
|
|
|
<p>De uitgavedocumentatie voor iedere -RELEASE versie van &os;
|
|
(bijvoorbeeld &rel.current;-RELEASE) staat op de pagina
|
|
<a href="&enbase;/releases/index.html">uitgaven</a> van de &os;
|
|
website en ook op de mirrors.</p>
|
|
|
|
<p>Deze bestanden (meestal in zowel HTML-formaat als platte tekst)
|
|
staan in de bovenste map van iedere distributie (of het nu om
|
|
CD-ROM, een FTP-site of installatiefloppies gaat).
|
|
|
|
<h2>Snapshot-versies van &os;</h2>
|
|
|
|
<p>De uitgavedocumentatiebestanden voor snapshots staan meestal in
|
|
de bovenste map van iedere snapshot.</p>
|
|
|
|
<h2>Documentatie voor -CURRENT en -STABLE</h2>
|
|
|
|
<p>Automatisch gemaakte HTML versies van de uitgavedocumentatie
|
|
voor &os;-CURRENT en &os;-STABLE zijn beschikbaar op de
|
|
&os;-website. Deze documenten wijzigen voortdurend. De
|
|
versies op de website worden tegelijkertijd met de rest van de
|
|
website opnieuw samengesteld (dagelijks).</p>
