- Move includes.nav*.sgml to share/sgml/navibar.ent and
<lang>/share/sgml/navibar.l10n.ent.
- Move includes.sgml and includes.xsl to
share/sgml/common.ent, share/sgml/header.ent, <lang>/share/sgml/l10n.ent,
and <lang>/share/sgml/header.l10n.ent.
- Move most of XSLT libraries to share/sgml/*.xsl and
<lang>/share/sgml/*.xsl.
- Move news.xml and other *.xml files for the similar purpose
to share/sgml/*.xml and <lang>/share/sgml/*.xml.
- Switch to use a custom DTD for HTML document. Now we use
"-//FreeBSD//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional-Based Extension", which is
HTML 4.01 + some entities previously pulled via
"<!ENTITY % includes SYSTEM "includes.sgml"> %includes;" line.
The location of entity file will be resolved by using catalog file.
- Add DOCTYPE declearation to XML documents. This makes the followings
possible:
* Use of &foo; entities for SGML in an XML file instead of defining
{$foo} as the same content.
* &symbolic; entities for Latin characters.
- Duplicated information between SGML and XML, or English and
translated doc, has been removed as much as possible.

<strong>o /usr/sbin/sysctl が正しい位置になく、whereis(1) が動きません。</strong>
|

対処法: 現在 sysctl(8) は /sbin/sysctl に移動しました。互換性を保つために、
|
|
単に次のようにシンボリックリンクを張ってください。
|
|
|
|
ln -sf /sbin/sysctl /usr/sbin
|
|
|
|
もしくはあなたのソースコードを 2.2-stable に同期させて
|
|
/usr/src/usr.bin/whereis/ で再構築とインストールをして
|
|
/usr/sbin/sysctl を削除すればいいでしょう。
|
|
|
|
<strong>o /usr/share/doc/FAQ がスペイン語になっています。</strong>
|
|
|
|
対処法: これは構築するときに FAQ の部分だけ失敗してしまったもので、
|
|
いまはすでに修正されています。cvsup や CTM で doc-all のタグのものを

すでに更新していたら、単に FAQ をソースから作り直して
|
|
インストールするだけでかまいません。もしくは
|
|
ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.org/pub/FreeBSD/doc/FAQ.tar.gz を取ってきて

次のようにして展開してください。

tar --unlink -xvzf FAQ.tar.gz -C /usr/share/doc

これで英語版の FAQ が手に入ります。

<strong>o getpwnam(3) の意味が間違ってしまう場合があります。</strong>
|
|
|
|
対処法: もしユーザ名に許されている最大の長さを越える文字列を受けとったとき、
|
|
getpwnam は正しくユーザのエントリを返さず、ユーザ名に許される
|
|
最大の長さの文字列を先頭に持つものにマッチしてしまいます。
|
|
この挙動を修正するには、libc を修正してリコンパイルする必要があります。
|
|
適切なパッチは次のようにして取ってくることができます。
