7c714236d8 Remove 5.2.1 from the list of supported versions. 5.2.1 was a technology
preview, and users should be upgrading to 5.3.

944e909aa4 GNOME 2.8 is now in the ports tree, so re-enable the link telling users how
to upgrade.  Also, 4.9 is EOL, so remove it from the supported versions
list.  We will no longer be building packages or testing on 4.9.

0b82b71148 Reinstate a warning that tells you not to run GNOME while performing
the upgrade.

You can safely ignore it if you agree to sit on your hands and not
touch ANYTHING. Maybe.

c7bfe7a2c4 Add an FAQ on how to upgrade from gnome2-lite to the full GNOME 2 desktop.
This is covered in the gnome2-lite pkg-message, but might be missed by
users installing from packages.

5206182bc1 Tweaks to FreeBSD/GNOME homepage:
- Add GNOME Journal to Resources section
- Comment out Upgrading to 2.6 section, it can be revived once we have
  Upgrading to 2.8 instructions ready
- Add a paragraph to State of port section about 2.8 ports waiting for end
  of freeze
- Expand the listing of FreeBSD versions we're supporting

8ed0811868 Feature merge from development version. Changes include:
* Support for experimental ports directory.
* Support for patches to be applied automatically.
* Acknowledge that we're currently testing 2.7, not 2.8.
* Various formatting and string tweaks.
* Use a slightly better logic for clearing out stale patches.
* Work around 4-STABLE's default pkg_add weirdnesses.
* Add a mechanism to skip running cvsup.
* 4-STABLE caveat tweaks.

3739fbfe85 Feature merge from development version.
* Introduce WATCH_BUILD environment variable which, if set, causes
  build output to be shown in real-time (as opposed to just directed
  into a logfile).
* Ensure xorg X is updated as well as XFree86 X.
* Fix a logic bug that caused the script's version number to be passed
  to portupgrade a ridiculous number of times.

1103a53751 Make sure to test the pixelsize font property when setting conditional
antialiasing.  If this is not done, certain applications (e.g. Mozilla and
gnome-terminal) may not honor antialiasing settings.
