296a120b36 gnome: prefer https where possible 
Where URLs resolve with HTTPS, use that. For URLs in these files that
are untouched I could not verify that they resolve correctly.

0562fbd5bd Revamp freebsd.org/gnome index page 
* Update to include mate and cinnamon.
 * Fix some indention issues.
 * Shuffle some text around, and remove some obsolete items.
 * Only show the 5 most recent news items.
 * Remove the gnomedesktop.org rss news channel parser. It doesn't work
   and is comment out to begin with.
 * Update Resources links. Add our wiki, upstream gnome news, mate and
   cinnamon project sites. Remove obsolete links.

4d07437c99 The send-pr(1) has been removed in FreeBSD 10, so remove it from most of the 
documentation (books, articles, websites) unless there is an explicit or
"obvious" reason.

Do not touch old news articles, release notes, or the CGI scripts.

84596a3a4f Use &cgibase; rather than hardcoding http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/ 
There are a few remaining explicit uses of http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/
but all of these appear to be outdated e.g. pointing to GNATS) and need
updating.

Switch &cgibase; to use protocol-relative links, rather than hardcoding
http.  Switch two others (ftpbase and ftpbaseerrata) whilst here.

52f6d56540 - Use /usr/bin/svnlite as SVN if available. 
- Replace /XML/{doc,www}/ with /XML/ in SysId.
- Remove empty stylesheets in share/xsl and point share/xml/empty.xsl via
  XML catalog instead.
- Change the L10N layer in freebsd-*.xsl not to use localized XSLT
  stylesheets directly.
- Move share/xsl/* to share/xml and remove share/xsl.
- Remove obsolete share/web2c/pdftex.def.

702f2f7047 Bump development version that we are currently working on.

f77daa56e0 - Properly copy XHTML fragments by adding namespace 
- Allow disabling last modified date by setting the date variable to
  empty text
