61123f500e Refer to FreeBSD 4.6.1 as a work in progress and remove its scheduled 
release date.  It's silly to guess at a completion date for this thing
when we don't even have a handle on all of the issues it's supposed to fix.

14d2b94607 Add information to release schedule : 
FreeBSD 4.6.1 - currently scheduled for 10 days from now.  We will
provide a full FTP release with updated SSH, BIND, partial ATA fix,
and other changes from the RELENG_4_6 release branch.

FreeBSD 5.0 DP2 - We need more time for KSE to settle -- bump date to
July 25, 2002.  We will again do our RE work in Perforce to minimize
the impact to -CURRENT developers.

a50755209e Fix up URL references to the Handbook in the 4.6-RELEASE and 5.0-DP1 
release documentation.

With one exception (the 4.6-RELEASE announce.sgml), these are all
generated files.  Usually I would be opposed to editing the generated
output, except that we're already getting bug reports resulting from
changing the way we refer to the Handbook.

Only doing this for 4.6-RELEASE and 5.0-DP1 now because these are the
latest active "releases".

a93c90cca5 Stop creating symlinks to the /FAQ and /handbook directories from the 
actual directories under /doc.  This broke inter-document links if
you started at http://www.freebsd.org/{FAQ,handbook}, instead of the
longer .../doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/{faq,handbook}, and has caused a
steady stream of complaints to -doc.

Instead, have a static index.html in both those directories with a
http-equiv="refresh" that points people to the right place.

Adjust the build process to take account of this.

f52778b85b Based on some verbal feedback from colleagues; 
De-emphasise the fact that we use GNATS.  Some people have assumed that
GNATS is something they have a problem with, not a tool that we use.

Add some additional information about what a PR is, and why it's not
necessarily a bad thing.

Include an additional link to send-pr.html where it seemed appropriate.

3970cfb275 Connect building of ports growth graph to site build process. It'll be 
available at http://www.FreeBSD.org/ports/growth/status.png after next
site rebuild. Since gnuplot(1) is used, generation of this graph is
off by default and can be enabled by explicitly set -DWITH_PORTS_GROWTH
make option.

In case if graph building is enabled your copy of ports/index.html will point
to your own version of graph, otherwise link to www.FreeBSD.org will be used.

0ea6a64950 Be a good web email interface and include the originator's IP address 
in the headers.  Although this information can be gleaned from the web
server logs, it should not be necessary to have access to the web
server in order to know who sent in a PR.
