i.e.:
"Simply use this command" is vaguely patronizing, especially when the
command is a Perl regex with a few obscure (to new users) command-line
options attached. "Use this command" answers the question, and
doesn't imply that you should know this already.
In most cases, when you begin a sentence with the word "simply" you
shouldn't. Simply begin your sentence with the second word instead.
example i.e. acd0c, since it's the FAQ it's a good thing to be
"conservative").
Add a note about the fact the device name must be changed according to
the user configuration.

make some more sense.
This FAQ is very i386-centric; there is no mention of what the minimum
requirements are for !i386 platforms.

Inspired by: PR docs/77304
describes a procedure needed only for FreeBSD 3.X.
Keeping the entry around has the risk that people do not notice that
it's not for recent FreeBSD versions, and they then get in trouble by
using this FAQ entry.
The FAQ in general still says it supports 3.X, but if anybody really
still use 3.X, I seriously doubt it's in an environment where a mouse
is required.

Joel Dahl brought kern.sched.name to my attention after my previous
commit. Suggest using kern.sched.name instead of "guesswork" for
5.3-RELEASE and later versions, leaving the kern.quantum guessing in
there for a while more (while we support 4.X).
