45ba1e4cea In port upgrading FAQ: Note that pkg_version(1) in FreeBSD 5.0 and 
later does not (and will not) support the -c option.  One other minor
wording tweak while I'm here.

02c25dba99 "Fix" the FAQ so that it can deal with the concept of two "latest" 
releases of FreeBSD (at the moment, 4.7 and 5.0).

This is a hack.  It really needs to be fixed to be more generalized
and so that this concept can be used in documents other than the FAQ.

But at least for now, we don't say weird things like "5.0-RELEASE is
the latest release from the 4-STABLE branch".

ecfa8d3dde Use ``the <filename>foo</filename> file'' when describing files. 
Markup is nice for visually showing the type of an element, but
it's nice to have all the relevant information in the running text
too for those cases where visual hints are impossible (i.e. when
someone is reading the text only version of the article).

2c70db6304 Since the output of dmesg(8) is not guaranteed to contain the boot messages, 
suggest users check var/run/dmesg.boot when they need information about their
devices, etc.
