1fbad0ab43 Remove part of setting your clock to the year 2000 to test Y2k compliancy.

7eec0a1427 Remove duplicate $FreeBSD$ lines. One is in the `date' entity, and

4b9c3472f1 For some reason cvsweb has decided to expand the /home/ncvs symlink and 
this causes the $FreeBSD$ tags to get messed up.  eg:
* $FreeBSD: /c/ncvs/src/sys/i386/include/globals.h,v 1.17 ... $
instead of the correct:
* $FreeBSD: src/sys/i386/include/globals.h,v 1.17 ... $

Change /home/ncvs to /c/ncvs in cvsweb.conf to compensate for this. :-(
This is a temporary hack.  Something changed in cvsweb that broke this.

816d0456a6 Explicitly set DOC_PREFIX in the child make invocation. This helps 
fix the case where the release notes are not exactly three levels
below in "something/something-else/doc" (if that's not the case,
doc.relnotes.mk would be unable to find the right path to the doc/
tree).

291c9188bb Don't make the often-false assumption that CVSROOT is a path. This 
removes the now-useless cvsindex variable; it wasn't really necessary,
anyway, since if the file to checkout can't be found, cvs(1) will
fail, and make(1) will follow.

30e6e68e54 Add a small icon that some web browsers look for (IE 5.0 and up and 
Konqueror to the best of my knowledge at the moment).  The icon will be
used for bookmark entries, and it appears in the URL bar as well.

Anyone else think this list ought to be scrapped?  It's very seldom updated

f8716bc7b2 Two fixes for the 4.3-RELEASE errata: Noted a typo when loading the 
Maestro-3/Allegro sound driver, and also mentioned FreeBSD-SA-01:39
(the fix was correctly noted in the release notes, but there was no
cross-reference to the advisory because the advisory hadn't yet been
issued at the time).

eab69689b8 Install all the documentation in to a single root, $WEBROOT/doc, with the 
same naming scheme as that used by the doc/ repo.

Update docs.sgml to point to the documentation in this canonical location.

Update the FAQ/ and handbook/ directories to use symlinks to point to
the real documentation under doc/en_US.ISO_8859-1/.  This means that local
testing of the site (and mirrors) will still work as expected using the
legacy URLs.  Mirrors that expect to see a lot of traffic are advised to
alter their web server configuration so that $WEBROOT/FAQ and $WEBROOT/handbook
are redirected to $WEBROOT/doc/en_US.ISO_8859-1/books/{faq,handbook},
instead of relying on the symlinks.

505c2a363c Undo rev 1.59 and don't build the docs directory 
Large URLs like

        http://www.FreeBSD.ORG/docs/en_US.ISO_8859-1/books/handbook/

are evil and hard to use for humans. There is no reason to move
our handbooks 3 (!) directory levels deeper.

Also, docs did not build and too many things are now broken on the
web server. So I immediate back this nightmare out.
