36b60cd406 Update the devel/portlint reference, since it was splitted on two lines 
the resulting output had an space in it (%20).  This broke the
reference.  I corrected that with this commit.

f571554b8b In kernelconfig/chapter.sgml: 
Remove a synopsis item discussing /dev entries.

In cutting-edge/chapter.sgml:
  Add some section IDs and make use of one (previous commit did not);
  Remove some info about -j being experimental;
  Use an estimated time period instead of discussing specific system configs;
  Do a quick s/take/make in a few places it otherwise seemed awkward.

3f0d1b56f0 Do what I swore would be done: 
o Remove 4.X information, this includes notes and sections.

o Update documentation to reflect 5.X and 6.X.

o In some areas, try to make the new content version agnostic.

o Skip areas stating "5.[0-5] and later" as it's relevant - we
need a better way to handle these.

For several items, I checked the NOTES files, manual pages,
CVS history, etc.

982c4b3841 Prune down the default list of formats both to reduce space requirements 
and to reduce runtime dependencies.  (Basically we get rid of PS,
because PDF is probably more widely used; html-split.tar, because
it's probably not that useful on an ISO image; and pdb, to get rid
of a dependency on iSilo).

Change volume title and publisher of ISO image to match precedent
of the real release ISOs.
