remove dead link
The link points to the homepage of a website that does not appear to
host documentation anymore.
Update to r50533:
Fix a broken link to the "Online Guide for newcomers to the UNIX environment."
The Italian translation has not been updated since r31375 on
2008-01-27. Future commits were either mechanical or global.
- The committers guide still references CVS
- The handbook still references sysinstall
- Both still reference GNATS
In general the documentation is out of date sufficient and not being
updated.
The hard work of the previous contributors is much appreciated.
Leave the handbook as there is interest in continuing the project.
The link points to the homepage of a website that does not appear to
host documentation anymore. While I don't speak Japanese, I made some
effort to find a still-hosted copy, and did not.
In r52086 the reference from the FAQ was removed. Remove a book
"bibliography" which is solely a reference to the outdated bibliography,
and not connected to the build.
There isn't any reason to maintain multiple lists of books. We
have three (handbook, website, and the FAQ). The last addition to the
FAQ's collection was in r22439 (2004-09-22). The Handbook's list is more
recent and up to date.
now. One is for Xen 4.7, intended for FreeBSD 11. The other is for -CURRENT
and uses a more modern Xen 4.11. Adjust the description and examples to
differentiate the two.
The old 4.7 packages use dom0pvh=1 on the commandline, while Xen 4.11 is
using dom0=pvh. Adjust those two as well for the supported FreeBSD versions.

- We have not done ports freezes for a long time, and not used CVS in
even longer
- Replace pointyhat ref with pkg-status
- Reference quarterly branches
Rather than use specific version numbers just talk about FreeBSD: for
amd64 we no longer use gcc on any supported version.
Also fix a double-space after a ","
PVM: I can't find any replacement web pages. There are multiple references to
the now-dead page but nothing canonical.
countersiege: see OpenBSD's page
The content at administration.html discussed hats, not maintainers.
While certain people do tend to own various areas, this is covered by
MAINTAINERS, Herald, etc. Just remove the reference to administration
since its off-topic in this context.

handbook: don't claim Firefox is "fully ported" browser
Firefox on FreeBSD is supported by FreeBSD community, not by Mozilla.
Over the years a number of unimplemented features grew larger and
stability degraded. No need to mislead users the experience will
be similar to Window/macOS/Linux.
For no_NO.ISO8859-1:
The Last Changed Date of no_NO was on 2013-11-07 16:37:11 +0000 (Thu,
07 Nov 2013). Of all the file, only the handbook has any translations
of which there are only basics/chapter.xml, bibliography/chapter.xml,
and install/chapter.xml. The latter of which still documents
sysinstall. I also can't seem to find any reference to the files
here: https://download.freebsd.org/ftp/doc/.
For sr_YU.ISO8859-2: no content in-tree at all.
