39d03fceaa - More tweaks on make a lot easier for the users that are too new to GNOME to 
understand it. Point the users about we have a few of GNOME meta-ports that
  aren't easy to find in the search engine. [1]
- Add two links of GNOME development platform and Planet GNOME under the
  Resources section.

1fa321d5ba Correct the ISO country codes of UK and Mongolia and add a world map

58aebe2415 Introduce <country> and <continent> tags to the usergroup entries in 
usergroups.xml and use this to clean up the geographical information
associated with each usergroup.  Move the groups in the 'Other Areas'
region to the appropriate region, mostly Asia.

Use this data to sort regions on the page by the number of usergroups
in each region (36 in europe, 34 in north america, 11 in asia, 4 in
au/nz oceania, 4 in south america, and 1 meta-bug).

No south african user groups at the moment?

be039622d9 Remove some of the previous application deadlines and note that 
successful student applicants will be announced on Monday.  Also add a
FAQ entry noting that we are eager to work with students that were not
selected for funding as there were not enough slots for all the
promising students.

31c4709880 Convert the community page to XSLT from SGML so we can pull in various 
XML files and use them to generate dynamic content.  For now, just use
this to mention the number of freebsd related events and the number of
unique countries in which they were held in the last year according to
events.xml.

We could also list some high level statistics about usergroups here
since that content is also maintained in XML.
