ee4b3bc705 Split out and expand upon the committer guide's discussion of commit logs. 
Some discussion about how to write an appropriate commit log description should be included.  The section currently only discusses the 'meta data'.

1d9bea10ed Merge the projects/entities branch into head/ 
The primary purposes are to clean up duplicated author definitions in
both share/xml/authors.ent and share/xml/developers.ent, and as a added
bonus simplify writing up author names/email addresses in web pages.

Apart from merging developers.ent into authors.ent, removing the former,
and updating the Committers Guide there should be little user-visible changes:
- a.portmgr renamed to a.portmgr.members
- a.doceng renamed to a.doceng.members
- team.re renamed to a.re.members.email and moved from
share/xml/freebsd.ent to share/xml/authors.ent
- a.core updated and moved from share/xml/mailing-lists.ent to
share/xml/teams.ent
- share/pgpkeys/{addkey.sh|README} updated

Translations are untouched except for build fixes.

8ce29fd673 Change 'svn switch --relocate' to 'svn relocate'. 
Use &os; in reference to $FreeBSD$ version string.
Rewrite some sections that had defined svn operations in terms of
what CVS did so they can stand alone.
Remove confusing reference to 'svn rmdir', which does not, in fact,
actually exist.

4255d4b1d6 "svn move" is not identical to "svn copy, svn remove" since 1.8. 
In particular, the move is recorded within the working copy (although not on the server).

dd0dca44bf Make it clear that squid can either be run on the clients (as it was in the 
old days), or on the server.  The latter is more efficient.

Factor out the ganglia instructions as being optional.

While here, remove some more cruft.

001dbdf45d Update the Subversion Primer in the committers-guide: 
- Explains the current state of the svn exporter, specifically that
  it should be viewed as legacy, and will not remain forever.
- Drop the one and only reference to csup.
- Drop the inclusion of the CVSup trademark attribution, no longer

6b5bfed944 Reflect the fact that src branch definitions have moved to admin/admin.conf, 
and that makeworld, mkbindist, zbackup, and zexpire have all moved to
admin/scripts/ .  This fixes up the three sections on dealing with changes
to branches, but the "new architecture" section is still a mess.

While here, stamp out more uses of /var/portbuild in favor of /a/portbuild.

d6ff37411d More work to support the split of PORTBUILD_USER into SRCBUILD_USER: 
- remove the old description of the internals of the mkportbuild
   script.  They are insufficient for the new world.

 - start refactoring to indicate which configuration variables move
   from portbuild/conf/server.conf to portbuild/admin/conf/admin.conf.
   WIP.

9d88ddc81d Silence some igor warnings by wrapping overlong lines. 
Also, add an extra space after a sentence stop in a few places.
Some indentations in this file are still not perfect, but I focused on

45de4739b2 Fold the pointyhat-zfs-volume sect2 into the portbuild-repo-setup sect2, 
because a new script tools/mkportbuild helps to automate several of the
tasks.

Some of the broken whitespace will be fixed in a followup commit.

d3656a1a96 - Document how to export some variables and change some of the initial 
setup commands to make them cut-and-pasteable.

 - Document that the new zfsadmin tool creates a zfs permission set
   to allow the portbuild user to manage the entire volume, thus
   obviating the need for privilege escalation for that case.

 - Note that this also means that the background svn update processes
   no longer need to live in the root crontab.

 - Document how to fold the exported variables back into server.conf.

 - Finally, note that the qmanager initial command has also been automated.
