86feada16f JOIN is not the same as the operation done here. 
Nowadays most users who are not familiar with Unix are also unfamiliar with MS-DOS so remove the analogy.

2b9e11b84c The folder blocked previously seems to be a special case of a broader problem which clusteradm@ is looking into. 
However, /sites/downloads.sourceforge.net/ should be blocked as
- it is not our code
- some mirrors are serving malware from it which we don't want to be associated with us

183eca6912 There appear to be configuration errors causing an absurd amount of links to be generated. 
For now, block access to search engines until the problem is properly resolved.

50642ccc0a Removing old files is not an optional step on updating and upgrading FreeBSD. 
Reflect this by merging make delete-old section into the updating section.

This change rewords the section such that it fits in with the content around it,
and is the followup commit to r41772.
