5513123fa8 Reword parts of the Greek bsdl-gpl article, add missing commads around 
subsentences, fix a batch of typos [1], replace literal "quotes" with
<quote> elements so we get Greek quotes for inline quoted terms,
capitalize `Lite' in `BSD 4.4-Lite', and add a `Local variables' section
near the end of the file so it opens with the correct coding-system when
edited with Emacs.

ba951798d3 Various sundry fixes in the translated parts of the Greek 
Handbook's "network-servers" chapter:

  * Remove spurious whitespace from the start and ending
    tags of most <paired></paired> elements.
  * Reference the name of Vaggelis Typaldos in the parts
    that were translated by him.
  * Remove some duplicated words and extra punctuation.
  * Reword some of the translated bits that sound slightly
    'unnatural' in Greek.
  * Fill and wrap long lines.

d91f54d1c6 Add a note that emphasizes a bit the need for setting up the 
correct locale *before* firing up X11.  Some programs may not
display all Greek characters correctly in el_GR.ISO8859-7 when
the locale is misconfigured, i.e. Firefox and other programs do
not allow input of accented Greek letters.

ee79bbf7a4 Add a -t (tuple mode) option to checkupdate.py, which switches 
from preparsed human-readable output to printing a raw Python
tuples for each flist input file.  Manolis has post-processing
tools that can easily use this format, so this makes life easier
for him.

15f4b7f002 Add a new section about useful font collections for X11, with 
pointers to x11-fonts/* ports for the fonts.  It may not be
obvious for new FreeBSD users that just by adding a nice
collection of TTF fonts their X11 desktop experience will
improve a lot.

22b14be34f checkupdate: Losen a bit the %SOURCE% path validation check. 
It's to return a pathname that doesn't exist, so if it contains a
'/' character it's probably a valid path with a small typo.  Let
the rest of the script handle its non-existence, which it already

70a69003cb Add a new Python-based utility we wrote for the FreeBSD Greek 
documentation project (and anyone else interested to use it).
In the translated files, we have added special `tags' some time
in the past, using the format:

    %SOURCE%    en_GR.ISO8859-1/articles/foo/file.sgml
    %SRCID%     1.5

to denote that this translation was based on revision 1.5 of the
file referenced in `%SOURCE%'.

The `checkupdate' utility makes parsing and checking of these
tags easier.  It expects to receive a list of files to check in
standard input, so it can be run by typing:

    find el_GR.ISO8859-7 | checkupdate

This should report in standard output something like:

: el_GR.ISO8859-7/articles/compiz-fusion/Makefile rev. 1.1
:     1.1        -> 1.1         en_US.ISO8859-1/articles/compiz-fusion/Makefile
:
: el_GR.ISO8859-7/articles/compiz-fusion/article.sgml rev. 1.1
:     1.3        -> 1.5         en_US.ISO8859-1/articles/compiz-fusion/article.sgml

We will keep extending the `checkupdate.py' script to add more
features, like a "patch preview" mode.  The version committed
here works well enough for now, and it already shows a lot of
files that we have to update in el_GR.ISO8859-7 :)

b9e3144548 freebsd.dsl: Enable list normalization attributes for Greek text 
I missed this one when adapting `freebsd.dsl' from en_US.ISO8859-1,
and the result was that in HTML output the Greek text-tag of <warn>
elements was bumping against the included <para> text.

8c6e284564 MFen: Partial resync of the Greek share/sgml tree. 
Some of the originals didn't have an en_US.ISO8859-1 revision, so they
are not really _full_ MFen of all the revisions since 1.1, just a more
recent crosscheck to see that we are truly in sync, and tagging with
the original English revision ID.

a517909337 Greek FAQ: Remove extra spaces before </para> closing tags. 
The extra whitespace may generate spurious vertical space in some
output format (i.e. HTML).  Deleting it doesn't harm, I guess.

2b7718eeed - Fix the font name of `grfixed-8x16.fnt' (it includes a dash) [1] 
- Use LANG="el_GR.ISO8859-7" by default.  The original LANG="C" is ok
  for my own taste, but for full Greek support, the correct environment
  value is "el_GR.ISO8859-7" [2]
- Tweak the GNU Emacs startup code a bit.  In Emacs 22.X and later we
  don't need a `set-language-environment' call anymore.

f6118ac833 Using html2text works much much better for Greek plain text 
output, than the default links(1)-based conversion.  Now I can
actually read Greek in `article.txt' and `book.txt' files.
